If you're a Londoner like me, you've likely not gone a day without seeing a Fjällräven backpack in a very long time. I picked up the black version before a Twenty One Pilots gig last year when I decided I wanted something cute to carry my merch in. Little did I know how often I would actually use it... It's my everyday work bag. Did you know this type of bag, the Kanken, was created in Sweden to prevent back problems amongst children? No wonder I love it so much (context: I broke my spine a few years ago and occasionally get horrific back pain).

On this particular day, I was heading to EGX Rezzed - an annual indie gaming event. I wanted something casual that wouldn't be too warm in the expo halls, hence the fishnet tights. Can we normalise wearing fishnet tights so I feel less uncomfortable wearing them on public transport please. I feel like I dressed like a little schoolgirl and I'm 100% okay with that. Just a cosy Brandy Melville sweater under a H&M LBD.

Thanks for reading, pals

  1. I LOVE my kanken! I definitely feel like it's so supportive, unlike my old tote bags. As you said it must be so good for you considering your accident before! You look lovely in all the shots as well <3
